Winged Seeds - inspired by Frank Lloyd Wright and the Prairie Style, where nature's forms are abstracted into geometric shapes. One of Wright's homes, Samara House, is located in my home town. Samara means 'winged seed.' I think it's a lovely name and it fits this painting so well, with the abstracted leaf shapes, the straight lines next to the organic lines.
